Ultrasonic Welding Machine
Product Description
Modern manufacturing demands flexibility. A traditional large-frame ultrasonic welder occupies a fixed position on the line, takes minutes to set up, and is overkill for small-batch or multi-variety production. The CGSONIC CGSM ultrasonic welding machine solves these limits: its small footprint fits any workbench, the lightweight hand-held welding handle (compatible with horn changing) extends reach into confined areas, and a plug-and-play generator with auto frequency tracking gets you welding in under a minute. With CE certification and a robust safety design, it is the most cost-effective entry point for small and medium workshops moving from manual to ultrasonic plastic welding — without committing to a full-scale production line.

Product Advantages
The CGSM is not a single-purpose tool. By swapping the ultrasonic horn (sonotrode), this same machine switches between spot welding, ultrasonic riveting, ultrasonic insertion (inserting metal studs or threads into plastic), ultrasonic staking, short-distance ultrasonic cutting, and ultrasonic sealing of thin films. Frequency options of 20kHz, cover the full range of thermoplastic materials: ABS, PP, PC, PA (nylon), PVC, PS, PE, PET, PMMA (acrylic), POM and TPU. One ultrasonic welding platform replaces several single-process tools on the bench.

Working Principle & Selection Guide
The ultrasonic welding system converts mains AC into a high-frequency electrical signal in the digital generator. The piezoelectric transducer converts it into mechanical vibration at the operating frequency (20kHz / 28kHz / 35kHz / 40kHz). The booster amplifies the vibration amplitude and delivers it to the sonotrode. When the sonotrode contacts the thermoplastic workpiece, the high-frequency vibration generates frictional heat at the interface; the plastic locally melts and, under the slight pressure of the hand-held handle, molecularly bonds to the mating part in milliseconds. The cycle stops, the joint cools, and a clean hermetic weld is formed. There is no external heat source, no open flame, no solvent and no consumable — only electrical energy and the tuned acoustic stack.
To select the right configuration, tell us: the plastic material and grade, the part geometry and weld area, the desired production mode (spot / continuous), and any certification requirement (CE, ISO 9001). Our engineers will match the ultrasonic generator power rating, the transducer, the booster ratio and the sonotrode design, and run a free sample welding test with your parts before shipment. The CGSONIC CGSM ultrasonic welding machine is also available as an OEM/ODM platform: custom color, logo, front-panel layout, parameter presets and starter kits for distribution partners.

FAQ
Q1: What plastics and products can the CGSONIC CGSM ultrasonic welding machine handle?
A: This ultrasonic plastic welder handles most common thermoplastics: ABS, PP, PC, PA (nylon), PVC, PS, PE, PET, PMMA (acrylic), POM, TPU and more. Typical applications include ultrasonic spot welding of webbing and PSA cards, ultrasonic riveting of plastic housings, ultrasonic insertion of metal studs and threads into plastic, ultrasonic staking of components, short-distance ultrasonic cutting, and ultrasonic sealing of thin films. Unsure whether your material works? Send us a sample — we run a free welding test and send back a video and process parameters before you order.
Q2: What is the difference between a portable / handheld ultrasonic welder and a large benchtop ultrasonic welding machine?
A: A portable / handheld ultrasonic welder (like the CGSM) is a lightweight, hand-held system with a small benchtop generator — designed for small batch, prototyping, and multi-variety production on the workbench. A large benchtop ultrasonic welding machine is a fixed pillar / press-type machine with high weld force and large welding area — designed for high-volume production of the same part. The CGSM is the best entry: same industrial-grade generator, same auto frequency tracking, same sonotrode ecosystem, but in a portable form factor that fits any workshop and saves capital investment.
Q3: How do I choose the right frequency and power for my application?
A: General rule: lower frequency (20kHz) = higher amplitude, suitable for larger / harder / thicker plastics and larger weld area; higher frequency (35kHz / 40kHz) = lower amplitude, higher precision, suitable for smaller / thinner / more delicate parts. Power rating (500W–1500W) is selected based on the part size and production speed. Send us your part drawing and a sample — our engineers match the frequency, power, transducer, booster ratio and sonotrode profile, and run a free sample test before shipment.
Q4: Is the CGSM CE-certified, and what about warranty and OEM service?
A: Yes. The CGSONIC CGSM ultrasonic welding machine is CE certified and manufactured under ISO 9001. Standard warranty is 12 months from B/L date, covering manufacturing defects on the generator, transducer and sonotrode. After-sales includes lifetime remote technical support via WhatsApp / email, video-call troubleshooting, and spare parts supplied within 48 hours. For OEM / ODM projects we support custom color, logo, front-panel layout, parameter presets, and starter kits for distributors and brand owners.
