Ultrasonic Radial Lace Machine
Product Description
Traditional sewing machines bind fabric edges with needle and thread. On thermoplastic textiles — nonwoven fabric, PP/PE woven cloth, nylon, polyester — this approach has three built-in problems: stitching perforates the fabric and weakens the edge, threads break and skip on high-speed runs, and cut edges fray after washing. The ultrasonic radial lace machine solves all three at once: high-frequency vibration melts and fuses the fabric edge under the pattern roller, sealing, cutting and embossing in one continuous pass. The result is a watertight, fray-free edge with decorative lace pattern — and no sewing thread consumable cost at all.
The word "radial" refers to the working method: the pattern roller (flower wheel) rotates radially against the ultrasonic horn, so the fabric is fed continuously and the lace pattern is embossed evenly across the full working width. Compared with flat-plate ultrasonic welding, this continuous rotary process gives higher throughput, uniform pattern repeat and unlimited fabric length — ideal for mass production of lace trimming, elastic edges and decorative bands.

Product Advantages
The CGSM is not a single-purpose tool. By swapping the ultrasonic horn (sonotrode), this same machine switches between spot welding, ultrasonic riveting, ultrasonic insertion (inserting metal studs or threads into plastic), ultrasonic staking, short-distance ultrasonic cutting, and ultrasonic sealing of thin films. Frequency options of 20kHz, cover the full range of thermoplastic materials: ABS, PP, PC, PA (nylon), PVC, PS, PE, PET, PMMA (acrylic), POM and TPU. One ultrasonic welding platform replaces several single-process tools on the bench.

Product Overview

Technical Functions
· Ultrasonic Ultrasonic Vibration Cutting & Sealing: the horn vibrates at 20KHz, melting and fusing thermoplastic fabric instantly under the roller — one pass, three effects (cut, seal, emboss).
· Auto Frequency Tracking Generator: the self-developed generator locks the resonant frequency in real time, keeping amplitude and power stable during long continuous runs.
· Custom Pattern Roller (Flower Wheel): roller width, lace pattern and tooth profile customized to your product; different rollers can be exchanged for different designs.
· Touch Screen Speed & Pressure Adjustment: welding speed and roller pressure adjustable on the touch screen to match fabric thickness and material.
· Foot Pedal Control: hands-free pedal trigger, easy for new operators to master within minutes.
· Air Cooling System: forced-air cooling supports continuous mass production shifts.
· Safety Protection: emergency stop button, overload protection and safe air circuit structure reduce operation risks.

Ultrasonic Lace Machine vs Traditional Sewing
| Comparison Item | CGSONIC Ultrasonic Lace Machine | Traditional Sewing Machine |
| Needle & Thread | None — vibration fuses the fabric itself | Needles, threads, bobbins as consumables |
| Edge Quality | Sealed, watertight, fray-free lace edge | Stitch holes perforate edge, fraying after wash |
| Skipped Thread | Impossible — no thread | Frequent at high speed |
| Process | Cut + seal + emboss in one pass | Sew first, then cut and overlock separately |
| Output Speed | Continuous feeding, high throughput | Lower, limited by stitching speed |
| Decorative Pattern | Embossed lace pattern in the same pass | Needs extra embroidery / lace attachment |
| Hygiene | No thread lint, sealed edge — suits medical fabric | Thread lint, open cut edge |
| Operator Skill | Foot pedal, minutes to learn | Skilled sewing operators needed |
| Cost | Higher initial cost, zero thread cost, higher yield | Cheap machine, ongoing consumable & rework cost |
Working Principle & Selection Guide
The ultrasonic welding system converts electric energy into high-frequency mechanical vibration. The vibration heat melts the contact point of the thermoplastic fabric instantly, realizing seamless cutting, sealing and embossing forming under the pressure of the pattern roller. The finished lace has high tensile strength and a neat appearance. Because every lace design requires its own roller geometry — pattern pitch, tooth profile, cutting land width — the flower wheel is customized per product, in the same way ultrasonic sonotrodes are customized for each welding application. Custom roller width sets the machine's working width to match your fabric roll.
CGSONIC (Chengguan Intelligent) specializes in R&D and manufacturing of ultrasonic welding machine series equipment, and provides one-stop service: machine customization, roller mold development, after-sales technical support and global shipping. We supply ultrasonic equipment to garment factories, nonwoven product manufacturers and textile processing enterprises worldwide. If you have special requirements for fabric processing or roller pattern customization, send us your fabric sample — we run a free test and return a cutting report and quotation.

FAQ
Q1: What fabrics and materials can the ultrasonic radial lace machine process?
A: It works on any thermoplastic textile: nonwoven fabric (PP, PET spunbond, meltblown), PP/PE woven and laminated fabric, nylon, polyester, synthetic film-composite fabric, elastic bands and gift ribbons. Natural fibers that cannot be heat-sealed (pure cotton, linen, silk, wool) are not suitable. If unsure, send us a sample — we test it free of charge and send back a sealing report and video before you order.
Q2: Can the lace pattern roller be customized? How do I get my own design?
A: Yes. The pattern roller (flower wheel) is customized per product: we machine the roller to your lace drawing or reference sample, including pattern pitch, tooth profile and roller width, which also sets the machine's working width. Send us your design file or a physical sample of the lace you want to replicate — our engineers confirm feasibility, make the roller, and run a free sample test on your fabric before shipment. Different rollers can be exchanged on the same machine to produce different patterns.
Q3: What is the difference between an ultrasonic lace machine and a traditional sewing machine?
A: A sewing machine binds the edge with needle and thread — it perforates the fabric, breaks threads at high speed and leaves cut edges that fray after washing. The ultrasonic lace machine fuses the fabric edge itself with high-frequency vibration: cut, seal and emboss happen in one pass, the edge is watertight and fray-free, and there is no thread consumable cost at all. It is also far easier to operate — foot-pedal control that new operators learn in minutes, versus skilled sewing labor that is increasingly hard to hire. For disposable medical fabric and hygiene products, the sealed, lint-free ultrasonic edge is the only acceptable standard.
Q4: What about warranty, after-sales support and OEM service?
A: Standard warranty is 12 months from B/L date, covering manufacturing defects. After-sales includes lifetime remote technical support via WhatsApp/email, video-call troubleshooting, and spare parts (rollers, horns, generators) supplied within 48 hours. For OEM/ODM projects we support custom machine color, logo, roller library development and parameter presets — tell us your product line and we build the machine around it.
